Suzuki’s IoT-Enabled Smart Bike Dashboard App
Problem Statement:
Suzuki and an Embedded Development company approached Codewave with a problem statement – Bikers often face distractions when checking for missed calls, and messages, or navigating on their phones while riding, compromising safety and convenience. Suzuki envisioned a solution to eliminate this distraction by creating a smart dashboard app that streams essential communication and navigation directly onto the bike’s dashboard. Additionally, the app needed to integrate sensor data to monitor the bike’s performance and enhance safety.
Solution:
Codewave designed and developed Suzuki’s Smart Bike App, enabling seamless streaming of incoming calls, messages, and WhatsApp notifications to the bike’s dashboard, allowing bikers to stay connected hands-free. The app also features navigation streaming, making it easier for riders to follow routes without checking their phones. To further improve safety, the app collects vital sensor data from the bike, monitoring health metrics and analyzing performance, while offering real-time safety alerts.
The app architecture was built to be scalable, allowing future adaptability to different types of bikes, including electric vehicles (EVs). This forward-thinking solution aligns with Suzuki’s vision of making riding safer and more convenient, while elevating the overall biking experience.
