Online Modular Kitchen Booking For GCC Markets

Problem Statement:

Al-Essa.me, based in Riyadh, wanted to create Niuli, an “Uber for matching consumers to interior designers” specializing in modern kitchens. The goal was to provide a seamless and rich customer experience, integrating with Al-Essa’s modular kitchen business to handle everything from design to production, delivery, and final assembly. The platform needed to cater to a diverse range of users across the GCC, including customers, designers, production teams, delivery teams, fitters, and multiple admin teams.

Solution:
Codewave undertook the holistic design and development of Niuli, focusing on creating an intuitive and engaging platform that guides users through the entire kitchen design and installation process. The UX/UI design process began with in-depth customer and business user interviews, followed by customer journey mapping and business impact mapping to ensure that the platform met all user needs and business objectives.

The platform was built using the MERN Stack and ReactNative to ensure cross-platform compatibility on Android and iOS, with serverless computing on the cloud for scalability and efficiency. The system could seamlessly integrate with Alessa’s existing CRM, SAP, warehouse, inventory, and billing systems to ensure efficient operations and order fulfillment. Niuli allows users to explore custom kitchen designs, connect with designers, collaborate on design drafts, approve blueprints, place orders, and manage payments. The integration with Al-Essa’s established modular kitchen business ensures a smooth transition from design to production, delivery, and final installation, providing a comprehensive and satisfying user experience.
