A Startup called DiscoShots approached Codewave with a problem statement – Consumers often struggle to make informed purchasing decisions based solely on static 2D images of products. There is a growing demand for a more dynamic and interactive shopping experience that bridges the gap between viewing and purchasing. A more engaging and immersive shopping solution was needed to enable consumers to explore products in an interactive way.
Solution:
Codewave designed and developed Disco, an innovative platform that transforms online shopping through short, high-quality vertical videos to showcase products via interactive, shoppable videos. Key features include: Vertical Videos, allowing engaging, concise product showcases; Clickable, Shoppable Icons, interactive icons embedded in videos that users can click for product details or to make purchases; Product Listing, a comprehensive list of all products featured in each video, providing easy access for users; and Celebrity Profiles and Sponsored Brands, leveraging influencers and well-known brands to boost product appeal and credibility.
This dynamic and interactive approach provides a more immersive shopping experience and increases the likelihood of purchases by enabling users to interact directly with the products they’re interested in.
