Citizen connect platform
Problem Statement:
The Karnataka government aimed to revamp the BBMP citizen interface to simplify interactions between citizens and the government. The goal was to bring greater transparency by sharing ongoing government work and demonstrating increased agility in serving citizens. The existing system needed to be overhauled to make it more accessible, efficient, and user-friendly.
Solution:
Codewave developed a unified platform for the Karnataka Government, allowing the citizens of Bengaluru to access a variety of services offered by the government, such as Building Planning, Property Tax Management, Birth & Death Record Management, and Grievance Redressal. The solution was executed using a persona-based approach, enabling both citizens and BBMP officials to access the platform tailored to their specific roles within the system. This approach ensured that users only interacted with relevant information and tools, making the platform more efficient and user-friendly. The redesigned interface enhanced transparency by allowing citizens to view ongoing projects and services, fostering a more open and responsive relationship between the government and its citizens.
